On February 1 were kicked entries for the most eagerly awaited event of the Romanian evangelical people on 2010, namely the conference of the famous writer and Christian apologist, Ravi Zacharias.
Recording already a huge interest, this event will take place in Sinaia, on 26-29 April 2009, being organized by the BIG Impact, Metanoia Baptist Church from Arad and RZIM (Ravi Zacharias International Ministries). Here are some paragraphs of the official invitation:
“I think you agree with me that one of the most difficult challenges of Christian ministry is represented by the difficult questions of those opposing the Judeo-Christian fath like atheists, agnostics, theists pleiad and relativists. Sometimes we simply don’t know how to respond. But Peter exhorts us: “Be always ready to answer whoever asks you account for the hope that is in you” (1Pet.3: 15).
This year, BIG Impact Foundation, together with Metanoia Baptist Church from Arad and Ravi Zacharias International Ministries (RZIM) invites you to an event that will try to meet those challenges. On 26-29 April, in Sinaia, will be a conference on issues of apologetics and evangelism, having Ravi Zacharias, probably the most famous apologist of the Christian faith of our time, as main guest. Together with him will lecture Michael Ramsden, one of the best known European apologists (RZIM Oxford), together with other speakers in the country and abroad. On this occasion, Ravi Zacharias International Ministries (RZIM) will launch its work in Romania.
You will have the opportunity to put the hardest apologetic questions, to raise those issues that you are afraid of when you share your faith, because this meeting will not only have plenary sessions but also panel discussions, interactions and seminars to address issues and obstacles in evangelism. Also, as always, the conferences organized by BIG & Metanoia will not miss worship, fellowship, prayer and resources. Come in for filling and strengthening your faith and your work!”
Since the publication of this event, in less than three weeks from the beginning of entries, over 95% of the seats were already occupied. We pray the Lord to use this event to give participants more courage for mission and evangelism in a world increasingly secularized and less interested in God.
